Lending Assistant
Reports to: SVP, Chief Lending Officer

We are seeking a detailed-oriented candidate with exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills to provide administrative support to our retail and commercial loan departments. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining the department filing systems including credit and legal files; generating department reports and mail-merge correspondences; and taking minutes at Loan Committee meetings as well as other administrative tasks.   

           The successful candidate must have a minimum of two years experience in an administrative support role that includes customer service responsibilities. The candidate must also be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and have a working knowledge of PowerPoint. Experience working in a loan department preferred.

The successful candidates will possess a minimum of three years mortgage origination experience that includes knowledge of mortgage financing programs, underwriting and Secondary Market guidelines. They will possess exceptional sales, communication and customer service skills. Candidates should also be able to demonstrate a proven track record of successful business development and the ability to meet established loan quality and volume goals.  High School diploma or equivalent required.
